Palestinians Phonebank for Obama
By Amanda Carpenter

A television news segment produced by Al-Jazeera shows Palestinians in Gaza engaging in phone banking activities for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21YF7ggCG6g).

The segment explains how young Palestinians have banded together to call American voters at random asking them to vote for Obama.

“It all started at the time of the US primaries,” says one of pro-Obama Palestinian organizers. “After studying Obama’s electro campaign manifesto I thought this is a man that’s capable of change inside of America. As for potential change in the Middle East, he can also do that if he can bring peace to the area. At least this is what we hope.”

Townhall was tipped off to the video by American Spectator’s Phillip Klein, who wrote Tuesday “It’s been around, but I'm just now seeing this Al Jazeera report of Palestinians in Gaza phonebanking for Obama. I hear that Hamas, which has endorsed Obama, has a bit of influence in those parts.”

Ahmed Yousef, a political adviser of the anti-Israel terrorist group Hamas said Hamas supports Obama last Sunday.

“We don’t mind–actually we like Mr. Obama. We hope he will (win) the election and I do believe he is like John Kennedy, great man with great principle, and he has a vision to change America to make it in a position to lead the world community but not with domination and arrogance,” Yousef said in an interview on WABC radio.

In recent days, Obama's position on the Isreali-Palestinian conflict has been scrutinized. One of his Middle East advisers, Robert Malley, resigned over the weekend after reporters found Malley had met with Hamas.

VIRAL NOTES: Dude, I'm telling you, now; if the denizens of the fictitious country of Palestine call me on the phone to vote for that racist communist, they'd better hope their grasp of English isn't all that great, because if it is, they're going to get their feelings hurt.

Isn't this crap illegal? Using foreigners for an election? Al Gore got into this kind of mess, back in the late 90s, when he had guys from a buddhist temple fundraising for him (http://archive.salon.com/politics/feature/2000/06/24/gore/index.html). Now, we have a leftist candidate that freely and openly associates with and befriends terrorists (http://righttruth.typepad.com/right_truth/2008/02/i-received-the.html), cuddles with racial supremacists for over 2 decades in their America-hating "church" (http://sweetness-light.com/archive/barack-obamas-church-ultra-left-and-afrocentric) and lies like a dirty rug, when he gets caught (http://www.anonymousliberal.com/2007/04/obamas-lies.html) (and my favorite: http://forums.hannity.com/showthread.php?p=24932813#post24932813). Now, he's got Palestinians working for him, howeveer indirectly? Sure, in his defense, I'm very sure he wasn't stupid enough to ask for their help, but what does it say when a region (not a country, because Palestine doesn't exist, and never did: http://www.allaboutmuhammad.com/page8.html) whose only export is terrorism backs you, politically? However, while he might not've asked the PLO or PFLP for help, directly, and may actively distance himself from them, verbally, let's not forget that he had Black Panthers and Nation of Islam guys working for him.

Obama even allowed Black Panther crap up on his official website, until he realized (finally) it would look bad, politically, to show he supports murderous, militant racist black radicals, and had their stuff deleted. Radio talk show host Mark Levin summed it up, perfectly. He said that what's really the issue, here, is judgement. Specifically, the judgement of a president that is friends with the wrong "reverend" Wright, that is friends of Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam, and that is friends with the murderous (and lucky) Bill Ayers and the Weather Underground.

Is this the man you want in the Oval Office, controlling our economy and military?
